Distributed Robust Model Predictive Control-Based Energy Management Strategy for Islanded Multi-Microgrids Considering Uncertainty

A microgrid is considered to be a smart power system that can integrate local renewable energy effectively. However, the intermittent nature of causes operating pressure and additional expense in maintaining stable operation by management microgrid. The structure multi-microgrids provides possibility construct flexible various trading framework. In this paper, order reduce adverse effects uncertain output, distributed robust model predictive control (DRMPC)-based strategy proposed for islanded multi-microgrids. This balances robustness economy single-microgrid combining advantages optimization control, while coping with uncertainty sources. Furthermore, dynamic market formed among microgrids, which enhance overall system. Simulation results verify feasibility DRMPC strategy.
